Noah Burnham, RB, Eagle: The state's leading rusher powered his way to 177 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in Eagle's 34-20 victory at Owyhee. Burnham even displayed his versatility, connecting with Aiden Kindrick for a 49-yard touchdown on a halfback pass as the Mustangs moved one step closer to clinching a fourth straight 6A SIC River Division title.
Kaelan Custer, QB, Rocky Mountain: The versatile signal-caller accounted for three touchdowns in Rocky Mountain's first shutout of the season, a 69-0 demolition of Meridian. Custer completed 6-of-8 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown while punishing defenses on the ground with 116 rushing yards and two more scores.
Brayden Dudley, QB, Capital: The senior quarterback was sensational in Capital's 44-3 rout of Centennial, completing 12-of-21 passes for 363 yards and four touchdowns. Dudley's aerial assault led an offensive explosion that saw the Eagles amass 527 total yards and storm back into the state rankings.
Jake Flowers, QB, Rigby: The dual-threat standout directed a balanced offensive attack in Rigby's 52-21 thrashing of Highland, completing 10-of-15 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns while adding 92 rushing yards and another score. Flowers' five total touchdowns highlighted the defending state champions' potent offensive capabilities.
Maddox Kirkland, QB, Kendrick: The junior signal-caller was nearly perfect in Kendrick's 68-0 demolition of Potlatch, completing 8-of-11 passes for 247 yards and four touchdowns. Kirkland's efficient performance helped the four-time reigning 1A state champions push their winning streak to 11 games while outscoring opponents 483-8 this season.
Kolter Lewis, RB, Ririe: The dynamic running back produced 196 rushing yards and three touchdowns while also hauling in a receiving score in Ririe's 42-28 triumph over previously undefeated West Jefferson. Lewis' four total touchdowns helped the Bulldogs become the lone unbeaten 3A team in the state and reach 7-0 for the first time in over two decades.
Justus Mangum, QB, Century: The mobile quarterback produced 287 total yards and four touchdowns in Century's 42-29 victory over Teton. Mangum threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns while adding 131 rushing yards and two more scores on the ground, displaying his ability to beat defenses through the air and with his legs.
Jake Perez, RB, Middleton: The workhorse back delivered one of the week's most commanding performances, grinding out 215 yards and three touchdowns on 35 carries in Middleton's shocking 26-12 upset of previously unbeaten and fourth-ranked Timberline. Perez sliced through the Wolves' defense for the second consecutive year, opening the scoring with a 40-yard touchdown run in the first quarter before sealing the victory with scoring runs of 5 and 36 yards in the fourth quarter.
Jace Waggoner, QB, Tri-Valley: The junior quarterback delivered one of the most prolific individual performances of the season, accounting for 452 total yards and eight touchdowns in the third-ranked Titans' 70-46 victory over Salmon River. Waggoner rushed for 358 yards and six touchdowns, completed 5-of-10 passes for 94 yards and two more scores, and even contributed six tackles on defense in the extraordinary all-around effort.
Brock Yarbrough, DB, Sandpoint: The defensive back turned in one of the most memorable performances in Idaho high school football history, returning two interceptions 101 yards for touchdowns in Sandpoint's 47-27 victory over Lake City. Yarbrough's pair of pick-sixes helped the Bulldogs bounce back from their worst loss in five years and provided one of the week's most unforgettable individual showcases.
