It's time to cast your vote for the midseason Ohio High School Football Freshman of the Year.

It's always exciting to see a new class of players start to emerge as stars in high school football. And there have been plenty of newcomers make their mark in Ohio's prep football ranks this fall.

This is your chance to weigh in on who you think the most impressive newcomer is so far in Ohio's high school ranks. This is all about the freshmen in the Buckeye State, and we've dug through the available statistics to compile a ballot with the most deserving players for the title of The Sporting News Ohio Midseason Freshman of the Year.

We've included a list of those players below the ballot with key statistics. Vote as many times as you want until 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 11, and the winner will be announced next week.
