Here are this week's candidates for The Sporting News Southern California high school football Player of the Week for Week Six (Sep. 29 - Oct. 5). Our SoCal Player of the Week voting is open to players from the CIF's Southern, L.A. City, and San Diego Sections. Read up on the candidates below and vote as many times as you'd like before 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The results will be announced in the following days.

Meet the candidates for Week 6 SoCal Player of the Week

Brady Annett, Corona del Mar: Annett completed 18 of 22 passes (81.8%) for 274 yards and four touchdowns to guide the Sea Kings to a 33-10 upset of San Juan Hills in Bravo League play.

Nicholas Bardaro, La Jolla: Bardaro stuffed the stat sheet in a 41-24 victory over El Cajon Christian with four catches for 51 yards and a touchdown, a rushing touchdown, nine tackles, two sacks, and a fumble-recovery touchdown.

Declan Becher, Damien: Becher was a menace despite losing 24-22 to Rancho Cucamonga, recording 11 tackles (seven solo) and four sacks.

Morley Boyd, Palos Verdes: Boyd made 10 catches for 200 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-7 rout of Culver City.

Melion Busano, Eagle Rock: Busano rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on just four carries in a 41-7 rout of Marshall (Los Angeles).

Carson Clark, St. John Bosco: Clark had six catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns as the Braves blew out JSerra 70-21.

Myles Cross, Granada Hills Charter: Cross had not one but two pick-sixes in one game, a 46-30 victory over Taft (Woodland Hills).

Malaki Davis, Corona Centennial: In a 62-20 blowout of Roosevelt (Eastvale), Davis ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries and caught a 29-yard touchdown as well.

Demare Dezeurn, Palisades: The 4-star Oklahoma commit made six catches for 181 yards and two touchdowns plus a kickoff return touchdown to hold off Westchester 35-19.

Brady Edmunds, Huntington Beach: Edmunds went off for 381 yards and seven touchdowns on 22-24 completion (91.7%) in a 65-10 beatdown of Laguna Hills.

Luke Fahey, Mission Viejo: The Ohio State commit had yet another remarkably efficient passing night, this time in a 56-7 dismantling of rival Long Beach Poly. Fahey completed 23 of 25 passes (92%) for 333 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers.

Anthony Ford, Marquez: Ford made two interceptions, which he returned a total of 93 yards, and forced a fumble as well in a 50-0 blowout of Santee.

Troy Foster, Huntington Beach: Foster racked up nine receptions for 245 yards and five touchdowns in a 65-10 blowout of Laguna Hills.

Travis Frazier, Esperanza: Frazier exploded for 450 yards and two touchdowns on 20-26 completion (76.9%) to steer the Aztecs to a 58-33 victory over Garden Grove.

Jaylen Gooden, Oak Hills: Gooden led the charge in a 28-14 victory over Serrano with team-highs of 71 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, 13 tackles, and six solo tackles.

Jack Hurst, Laguna Beach: Hurst completed 14 of 22 passes (63.6%) for 254 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-0 dismantling of Northwood.

Owen Ice, Point Loma: Ice snagged a whopping four interceptions as Point Loma defeated San Diego 31-13.

Damere Coleman, San Jacinto: Coleman led the Tigers with 14 tackles, 11 solo tackles, and three sacks in a 53-7 rout of Tahquitz.

Tycen Johnson, Chaparral: Johnson grabbed two picks and made six catches for 60 yards to lift the Pumas to a 28-20 win over Vista Murrieta.

Adrian Jones, Paraclete: Jones snagged eight receptions for 159 yards and four touchdowns as the Spirts rolled Alemany 49-6.

Caden Jones, Crean Lutheran: Jones steered the Saints to a 40-14 win against Foothill (Santa Ana) with 370 yards and four touchdowns to no picks on 19-23 completion (82.6%).

Jack Junker, Mission Viejo: Junker reeled in six catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns in a 56-7 rout of rival Long Beach Poly.

Micah Langohr, Dana Hills: Langohr helped power the Dolphins to a 35-14 win over Aliso Niguel with six tackles, four tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three QB-hurries, and a pass break-up.

Dannicco Louie, Aquinas: Louie had nine carries for 106 yards and three touchdowns plus an interception in a 75-27 rout of Ontario Christian.

Koa Malau'ulu, St. John Bosco: Malau'ulu went nuclear passing the ball in just one half of action in a 70-21 rout of JSerra. He completed 15 of 17 passes (88.2%) for 309 yards and five touchdowns, good for a passer rating of 167.3.

Diego Montes, Kennedy (Granada Hills): In only three quarters of action, Montes completed nine of 14 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a 53-yard touchdown as the Cougars blew out Panorama 42-7.

Quentin Pacelli, Garden Grove: Pacelli was uncontainable despite a 58-33 loss to Esperanza, rushing for 305 yards and two touchdowns while adding a 70-yard receiving touchdown.

Zamar Reese, San Marcos (San Marcos): Reese led the Knights to a 52-27 win against Oceanside with 236 yards and three touchdowns rushing.

Dean Rosales, Granada Hills Charter: Rosales ran for 230 yards and a touchdown to help the Highlanders to a 46-30 win against Taft (Woodland Hills).

Alijah Royster, Pacifica (Oxnard): Royster powered the Tritons to a 17-13 win over Oaks Christian with seven carries for 62 yards and a touchdown plus four catches for 103 yards and a touchdown.

Brody Snyder, Esperanza: Snyder piled up 91 yards and two touchdowns rushing plus six catches for 110 yards and another touchdown in a 58-33 win over Garden Grove.

Talon Spencer, Capistrano Valley: Spencer ran over Western for a 41-14 victory, completing nine of 13 passes for 98 yards, a touchdown, and no picks, and rushing for 121 yards and three touchdowns.

James Strong III, Rancho Cucamonga: Strong helped lead the Cougars to a 24-22 upset of Damien with 106 yards and one touchdown rushing plus two catches for 96 yards and another touchdown.

Khalil Terry, Tustin: Terry wreaked havoc in a 39-0 blowout of Cypress with two interceptions and a forced fumble plus two passes defensed.

Journee Tonga, Leuzinger: Tonga racked up 154 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to go with two catches for 58 yards and another touchdown in a 43-32 Bay League win over Inglewood.

Bryce Vasquez, La Habra: Vasquez hauled in 10 passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns as the Highlanders routed El Dorado (Placentia) 42-3.

Jeremiah Watson, Murrieta Valley: Watson lifted the Nighthawks to a 55-45 comeback win versus Norco by rushing for 256 yards and five touchdowns.

Blake Wong, Norco: Wong went off despite losing 55-45 to Murrieta Valley, making 11 catches for 280 yards and five touchdowns.
