Here are this week's candidates for The Sporting News Northern California high school football Player of the Week for Week Six (Sep. 29 - Oct. 5). Our NorCal Player of the Week voting is open to players from the CIF's Northern, North Coast, Central, Central Coast, Sac-Joaquin, Oakland, and San Francisco Sections. Read up on the candidates below and vote as many times as you'd like before 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The results will be announced in the following days.

Meet the candidates for Week 6 NorCal Player of the Week
Jaylan Barcenas, Casa Roble: Barcenas recorded 185 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a 38-yard touchdown catch to beat Rio Linda 32-13.
Santino Barragan, Wilcox: Barragan turned four carries into 80 yards and two touchdowns and also had a fumble-recovery touchdown in a 49-0 annihilation of Capuchino.
Titus Beers, Hughson: Beers starred on both ends in a 29-6 win against Escalon, totaling team-highs of five catches, 122 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, two tackles for loss, and one interception.
Max Bringgold, Sutter: Bringgold had three catches for 100 yards and a touchdown plus an interception and a tackle for loss as the Huskies pummeled El Camino (Sacramento) 62-0.
Lane Brown, Winters: Brown ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries in a 46-0 blowout of Colusa.
Wes Burford, Oakdale: The 3-star Air Force commit had a stat line you'll just about never see to lead the Mustangs to a 71-55 VOL win over previously-unbeaten East Union. He ran for 423 yards, seven touchdowns, and two conversions, and he also recorded seven tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, and five QB-hurries.
Jimmie Burk, Redwood (Visalia): Burk lifted the Rangers past Porterville 42-40 with 10 carries for 190 yards and three touchdowns.
Mason Caturegli, St. Vincent de Paul: Caturegli ran for 167 yards and four touchdowns to go with five tackles in a 28-7 win versus Rancho Cotate.
Brody Cole, Inderkum: Cole completed 20 of 28 passes (71.4%) for 300 yards and five touchdowns to zero interceptions and ran nine times for 49 yards in a 45-17 win against Vista del Lago (Folsom).
Grant Condy, Acalanes: Condy snagged two interceptions and returned one of them for a touchdown in a 51-25 victory over Benicia.
Wyatt Corriea, Liberty Ranch: In a 41-14 win over Argonaut, Corriea ran just six times for 164 yards and three touchdowns, made two catches for 29 yards, recorded 3.5 tackles for loss, and led the Hawks with 14 tackles and seven solo tackles.
James Curoso, Clovis: Curoso led the Cougars to a 25-0 win over Buchanan (Clovis) with 87 yards and four touchdowns rushing to go with an interception.
Joel Donnell, Chavez: Donnell ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns on just eight carries and made a touchdown catch as the Titans crushed West (Tracy) 63-0.
Jimmy Ducksworth, Chavez: Ducksworth caught one touchdown and two interceptions in a 63-0 rout of West (Tracy).
Eli Dukes, Palma: Dukes rumbled for 202 yards and three touchdowns plus three two-point conversions in a 57-21 win against Carmel.
Isaiah Ene, Granite Bay: Ene made key plays on both ends to guide the Grizzlies to a 14-13 win over Del Oro in SFL play. He ran for 204 yards and a touchdown and also recorded four tackles and a pick.
Connor Frontiera, Twelve Bridges: Frontiera tossed for 331 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions on 12-20 completion in a 56-17 rout of Nevada Union.
Grayson Gaines, St. Joseph (Santa Maria): Gaines ran for 137 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-0 dismantling of Mission College Prep.
Tyler Hinrichs, St. Bernard's: Hinrichs stood out in all three phases of a 43-6 rout of rival Eureka. He made seven catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns, ran for a two-point conversion, made two interceptions and returned them for a combined one touchdown and 70 yards, went five for five on PATs, and recorded four touchbacks on seven kickoffs.
Relando Jefferson, Clovis West: Jefferson lifted the Golden Eagles to a 28-21 win over Clovis East with five catches for 128 yards and a touchdown plus an interception.
Prescott Langer, Ferndale: Langer turned both of his carries into touchdowns, had team-highs of four tackles for loss and three sacks, and blocked a field goal as the Wildcats waxed Hoopa Valley 73-0.
Ryder Lyons, Folsom: Lyons threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns to four different receivers on 19-28 completion (67.9%) to steer the Bulldogs to a critical 28-9 win against Oak Ridge.
Jerren Mao, Hanford: Mao completed 21 of 26 passes for 391 yards, five touchdowns, and no picks in a 72-43 win against Dinuba.
Will Masterson, Tulare Western: Masterson powered the Mustangs to a 39-19 victory against Mission Oak with team-highs of eight tackles, four solo tackles, four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
Quinn Martinez, Manteca: Martinez went off for two punt return touchdowns, a kickoff return touchdown, and five catches for 83 yards and two more touchdowns as the Buffaloes bludgeoned Sierra (Manteca) 74-7.
Talen Mather, Frontier: Mather ran for 190 yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries as the Titans walloped Stockdale 49-6.
Geremy Molett, Bakersfield: Molett stuffed the stat sheet in a 63-0 beatdown of Highland (Bakersfield) with a 50-yard touchdown catches, five tackles for loss including four sacks, a forced fumble, and a 65-yard scoop-and-score.
Rajhon Newton, Hanford: Newton registered 111 yards and three touchdowns rushing, four catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, and a fumble recovery in a 72-43 victory against Dinuba.
Rocco Orlowski, Palma: Orlowski had 83 yards and a touchdown on four carries plus two interceptions with 43 combined return yards in a 57-21 win over Carmel.
Taveon Patterson, Hanford: Patterson hauled in 12 catches for 222 yards and four touchdowns plus a 45-yard kick return to help the Bullpups to a 72-43 victory over Dinuba.
Tanner Pidgeon, Ferndale: In a 73-0 beatdown of Hoopa Valley, Pidgeon completed 11 of 19 passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns with no picks, ran eight times for 66 yards and three touchdowns, registered a team-high eight solo tackles, recorded a pick-six, and blocked a punt.
Marvel Silaen, Lincoln (San Francisco): Silaen went off for eight solo tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble in a 27-8 win over Lowell.
Preston Seechan, Tulare Western: Seechan ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns to help Tulare Western to a 39-19 victory against Mission Oak.
Mariyon Sloan, Shafter: Sloan went for 140 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, 21 receiving yards, seven tackles, one tackle for loss, and a forced fumble as the Generals crushed Taft (Taft) 55-7.
Brandon Smith, Central East: In a 56-13 rout of Clovis North, Smith racked up 138 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns, eight solo tackles, and two pass break-ups.
Mekai Smith, Balboa: Smith ran six times for 125 yards and a touchdown, had two catches for 51 yards and a touchdown, and recorded a 54-yard scoop-and-score in a 54-6 blowout of Washington (San Francisco).
Dowan Stephens, Lassen: Stephens rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-14 rout of Las Plumas.
Amarion Taylor, Tulare Western: Taylor grabbed 11 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown to help the Mustangs to a 39-19 win over Mission Oak.
Luke Taylor, California (San Ramon): Taylor helped the Grizzlies to a 44-20 win against Amador Valley with four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns and a rushing touchdown plus a 35-yard kickoff return.
Elijah Walker, Chavez: Walker tossed for 324 yards, four touchdowns, and zero picks in the Titans' 63-0 stomping of West (Tracy).
