Week 6 of the Iowa high school football season wrapped up Friday night, as above-normal temperatures continued throughout the state.

The action on the field matched those temperatures, as teams continue to fight towards the upcoming postseason where a trip to the UNI-Dome will be on the line each and every week.

So, who had the best performance from Week 6 in Iowa high school football? Cast your vote to determine the winner, as here are the nominees:

Humboldt: The Wildcats got back on track in a key district showdown, winning the Battle of Highway 169 Trophy with a 28-23 triumph over Algona. 

Manson Northwest Webster: Behind several big plays, the Cougars remained perfect in district play, besting ranked Emmetsburg, 36-22, for the second consecutive season.

Roland-Story: Days after former head coach Kerry Van Winkle passed away, the Norsemen clipped Dike-New Hartford, 35-34. The game featured 42 points in the fourth quarter. 

Okoboji: The Pioneers remained unbeaten, rallying past Southeast Valley in overtime, 34-31. Okoboji tied it at the end of regulation on a Hail Mary and won it with a touchdown in OT.

Waukee Northwest: As the long unbeaten in 5A, the Wolves look the part of a state contender, blasting Ottumwa, 70-0.

Bellevue: Moving up to a new classification has not bothered Bellevue, as they improved to 6-0 with a 33-28 win over Alburnett.

Edgewood-Colesburg: In a meeting of ranked eight-player teams, Edgewood-Colesburg ran past Easton Valley, 58-28.
