Top Week 1 Minnesota High School Individual Performances
Luca Beske, LPAHS, Quarterback
Beske racked up 319 yards in the air, completing 23 of 32 with four touchdowns.
Brenden Gronner, Cromwell, Quarterback
Gronner was 10 of 14 passing for 267 yards, as four of those completions went for scores.
Joseph Mapson, Andover, Quarterback
Mapson did it with his legs in Week 1, rushing 21 times for 216 yards with five touchdowns, including a long of 78.
Braedon Becker, Elk River, Running Back
Becker got just seven carries, but he made the most of them, rushing for 172 yards and three touchdowns.
Carsyn Kleffman, Elk River, Running Back
The second part of a talented backfield for Elk River, Kleffman had 159 yards and two scores on 11 carries.
Lincoln Murphy, LAHS, Running Back
Murphy tallied 153 yards and a touchdown, averaging eight yards per carry.
Drew Nyberg, Cromwell, Wide Receiver
Cromwell broke out in the opener, recording four touchdowns on his five receptions, as they covered 177 yards.
Leif Shervey, LPAHS, Wide Receiver
Shervey had 107 yards and a touchdown on five receptions.
