Only one team will be undefeated after Friday's matchup of 1-0 Georgia teams McEachern and North Cobb.

McEachern opened the season with a 50-17 victory over Walton, while North Cobb had a closer victory against Archer -- winning that game 28-14.

POSTGAME

-McEachern avenges last season's 45-33 loss to North Cobb and halts the Warriors' 15-game regular season winning streak. North Cobb's last regular season loss came on Oct. 6, 2023 against Walton. McEachern has won seven of its last eight and 11 of its last 13 against North Cobb.

FOURTH QUARTER

-McEachern preserves the shutout with a goal line stand and hands North Cobb its first regular season loss in 16 games. 

THIRD QUARTER

-North Cobb finally catches a break on the first drive of the third quarter after forcing McEachern to turn the ball over on downs.

HALFTIME

-After a scoreless first quarter, McEachern's 21-point second quarter has it going into the locker room up by a comfortable margin. Henry Pullen leads the way with a pair of touchdown runs.

SECOND QUARTER

-North Cobb overcomes a sack by McEachern linebacker Brayden Matthews to get to the McEachern 34, but turns it over on downs after an incomplete pass. 2:17 left in the first.

-McEachern attempts to punt, but a high snap will give North Cobb the ball back on the McEachern 45-yard line.

-North Cobb opens with the ball but its first drive ends with a punt. McEachern starts its first drive on its 46.
