Georgia's No. 7 Grayson blew out North Carolina power Mallard Creek, 63-13, in Georgia Friday night.

LOGANVILLE, Georgia, Sept. 5 — The No. 7 Grayson Rams blew out the Mallard Creek [Charlotte, NC] Mavericks, 63-13, Friday night.

Grayson beat Thompson last week in The Sporting News High School Football Game of the Week, The fact Grayson beat a national Top 25 team without their star quarterback Travis Burgess has given the Rams and their fans hope that their dreams of a national title aren't yet out of reach.

They'll get another big test when North Carolina's mighty Mallard Creek [Charlotte, NC] Mavericks (2-0) come to town in one of TSN National Week 4's premier interstate matchups.

Grayson's win over Thompson marked the second straight season the Rams have beaten the Warriors in overtime.

And Mallard Creek's 2-0 start pushed them into the Top 100 in some rankings, including MaxPreps, where the Mavericks sport the No. 96 ranking in the country.
