One of the nation's most iconic New Year's Day celebrations will return on Thursday morning as the 137th annual Rose Parade hits the streets of Pasadena.
This year's iconic procession will feature 39 rose-covered floats, 19 marching bands and 17 equestrian teams from around the world. Floats will span up to 75 feet long and 35 feet high, featuring special effects like pyrotechnics, smoke and waterfalls.
The 2026 Rose Parade will be led by Grand Marshal Magic Johnson, and the Hall of Famer's legacy will be honored throughout the broadcast.
A few short hours after the Rose Parade concludes, the 112th Rose Bowl Game will begin with No. 1 Indiana and No. 9 Alabama going head-to-head. Don't miss out on the action.

The Rose Parade will start at 11 a.m. ET on New Year's Day. The live broadcast of the Rose Parade is set to run until 1 p.m. ET.

As per tradition, the only participants and performers in the Rose Parade will be the classic floats, marching bands and equestrian units.
There will be nearly 40 floats, 19 marching bands and 17 equestrian units throughout the procession.
Rose Parade location, route
The Rose Parade's 5 1/2-mile journey kicks off at the corner of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena.
It moves north along Orange Grove Boulevard at a pace of about 2 1/2 miles per hour, then turns east onto Colorado Boulevard. Toward the end of the route, the Rose Parade turns north onto Sierra Madre Boulevard and wraps up at Villa Street.
