Novak Djokovic next match at Australian Open 2026: TV schedule, scores, results for tennis grand slam image

Men's tennis legend Novak Djokovic returns to Melbourne Park in search of a record 25th grand slam at the 2026 Australian Open.

The Serbian was forced to make an early exit from this tournament last year due to a hamstring injury. Djokovic would be seeking his first major win since 2023, taking several losses at the hands of the "New Two" Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

With the draw finalized, Djokovic will not have an easy path to the finals. He will face Pedro Martinez in the first round, a matchup that he's heavily favored to win. Though it might be tough, Djokovic has won this tournament more than any other male singles player, a record 10 times.

Here is everything you need to know about Novak Djokovic's appearance at the Australian Open, including the latest results from the tournament.

When is Novak Djokovic's next match at Australian Open 2026?

Novak Djokovic will take on Pedro Martinez in the first round of the singles tournament on Monday, Jan. 19. The order of play for Day 2 has not yet been confirmed.
