French Open schedule 2021: Full draws, TV coverage, channels & more to watch every tennis match image

After a 2020 that saw one Grand Slam cancelled (Wimbledon) and Roland Garros shifted to the fall, things are back to normal this year — kinda. Back in April, the 2021 French Open was moved one week later with the hope of the shift allowing for more fans to attend.

Now with things about to get underway, all eyes will be on the "King of Clay," Rafael Nadal, as he goes for his 14th title — and fifth consecutive — at Roland Garros. If he wins the tournament, he will break a tie with Roger Federer for most men's Grand Slam titles. The duo is tied at 20.

However, to get the record, Nadal, the No. 3 seed, will have to go through world No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the semifinals.

On the women's side, world No. 1 and 2019 champ Ash Barty was back in Paris after skipping last year's tourney due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, she retired in the second round with a hip injury. No. 2 seed Naomi Osaka withdrew after her first-round win, citing concerns over her mental health. Serena Williams fell in the fourth round. The women's final came down to the surprising matchup of Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova vs. Barbora Krejcikova, who are playing in their first Grand Slam event.

Here is the full 2021 French Open schedule, including draws, TV coverage breakdown and order of play for each round.
