Real Madrid secured multiple stars this summer, but the club is still missing the ideal Toni Kroos replacement.

Kroos has been a hard man to replace, with the current midfield falling short of the star's and the club's expectations.

Xabi Alonso is interested in a young La Liga sensation as a potential future signing, with the Spanish midfielder already receiving interest from Manchester United

Which young midfielder is Real Madrid eyeing?

According to Defensa Central, Real are interested in Valencia's Javi Guerra, who had been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer.

Guerra had reportedly made a verbal agreement with Man United before eventually signing a new contract with Valencia to keep him with the club until 2029.

His new contract is said to have a €100m release clause, but Valencia's financial situation could see them accept offers for half that.

Alonso is keeping track of the Spanish youngster's progress, with Guerra already proving himself in La Liga.

Guerra is highly regarded for his technical ability and tackling, with the 22-year-old being a versatile player on and off the ball.

With Real's status, Guerra might prefer to join Los Blancos; however, Man United beat Real to Leny Yoro, who was also a target for Madrid.
