Who won AFCON 2025? Morocco vs. Senegal score, result from Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat image

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations concludes on January 18 with the final in Rabat.

Host nation Morocco take on Senegal for the right to lift the trophy, a day after Nigeria claimed the bronze medal by beating Egypt on penalties in the third-place playoff game.

Morocco are desperate to end their long wait to win the AFCON, especially in front of their home fans. Senegal have a greater recent pedigree when it comes to Africa's top tournament, but they too are hoping for final success that has eluded them all too often in the past.
