Get ready for another entertaining season from women's top-tier English football as the 15th edition of the Women's Super League returns with more thrill and drama.

The Women's Super League sits atop women's football in England, featuring 12 teams who will be seen battling for the prestigious title throughout the season. This season will see a transitional path with the same number of teams before expanding to 14 teams next year.

This season will see a change in format, as the teams finishing at the top of the WSL2 table will promote two teams to the WSL next season, while the bottom-placed team in the Women's Super League will play in a promotion/relegation play-off against the 3rd-placed WSL2 side.

This season will also mark a new entry of London City Lionesses; they will join the women's English top flight in place of last season's relegated Crystal Palace.

As the new season gets underway, all eyes will be on the defending champions, Chelsea, who won their sixth consecutive title last term. While top clubs like Manchester City, Brighton, and Liverpool aim to rebuild themselves this term after a disappointing performance in the last campaign.

The Sporting News looks at the key fixture details and how to follow the matches.
