Having collected six points through their first three matches of the Champions League campaign, Chelsea look to boost their league phase standing as they travel east to Kazakhstan for a meeting with Qarabag.
Tasked with navigating a five-and-a-half hour journey through the air from London to Baku, the Blues have a tough fixture ahead of them. Qarabag have also won two of their first three European matches, beating Benfica and FC Copenhagen before falling on the road against Athletic Club.
Still without Cole Palmer for another month, Chelsea will hope that Liam Delap and the rest of their deep but inconsistent attack can carry the load in a difficult road assignment.

Chelsea vs. Qarabag lineups, team news
Despite Qarabag's impressive start in the Champions League this term, the long distance to travel and relative quality of the opposition means Maresca is likely to shuffle his pack.
Striker Liam Delap and weekend matchwinner Joao Pedro are each available following respective domestic and European suspensions for red cards. When Delap was dismissed during the Carabao Cup win over Wolves, he became the sixth Chelsea player or coaching staff member to be sent off in the space of nine matches.
Moises Caicdeo was magnificent against Spurs and might be given the chance to rest up here, and it could be a similar case for Enzo Fernandez. At centre-back, Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh Acheampong are in contention for starts.
Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Jorgensen (GK) — Gusto, Acheampong, Adarabioyo, Hato — Santos, Lavia — Estevao, Buonanotte, Gittens — Delap.
Cape Verde international Leandro Andrade has been Qarabag's most dangerous player in the Champions League, with goals in two of their three league phase matches so far, plus three more in qualifying.
On the other wing is captain Abdellah Zoubir, who has five goals and five assists across all competitions himself thus far into the season. The 33-year-old has been with Qarabag since joining from French side Lens in 2018, now in his eighth season with the Azerbaijani club.
Qarabag predicted XI (4-2-3-1 right to left): Kochalski (GK) — Silva, Mustafazade, Medina, Jafarquliyev — Bicalho, Kady — Andrade, Malinowski, Zoubir — Duran.
