The prospect of PSG landing in Riyadh has created huge excitement with domestic fans eager to see the Parisian club's array of superstar names at the King Fahd International Stadium for the Riyadh Season Cup 2023.

Despite looking to balance the friendly against the demands of domestic action, PSG boss Christophe Galtier will field a strong lineup, with all of his first-team players traveling except for a handful of injury concerns.

Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Achraf Hakimi all feature in the match at some point in Saudi Arabia with Cristiano Ronaldo captaining the host side after his recent move to join Al Nassr.

Below are the confirmed starting lineups for both teams based on the latest news heading into the match.

PSG vs Al Nassr / Al Hilal lineups

The combined squad for Al Nassr/Al Hilal has been confirmed ahead of kickoff with the Saudi Arabian Chairman of General Authority for Entertainment Turki Alalshiki confirming Ronaldo will captain the team.

Ronaldo's new Al Nassr teammate Talisca is also starting alongside Ronaldo who will be at centre forward.

Below are the confirmed starting lineups for both teams for their match at the King Fahd International Stadium on January 19.

Al Nassr/Al Hilal starting 11

Al Nassr/Al Hilal starting XI (4-3-3): Al-Owais (GK) — Abdulhamid, Al Bulayhi, Soo Jang, Al Ghanam — Al Khaibari, Gustavo, Pereira — P. Martinez, Ronaldo, Talisca.

All eyes will be on Ronaldo's first match with some of his Al Nassr teammates since the 37-year-old has yet to feature for his new club due to a suspension carrying over from his time at Manchester United.

However, an eye-catching forward line will cause problems for PSG, with Brazilian forward Talisca already netting 11 league goals this season. David Ospina misses out due to injury.

PSG starting 11

PSG starting XI (3-4-3): Navas (GK) — Bitshiabu, Marquinhos, Ramos — Bernat, Sanches, Soler, Hakimi — Neymar, Messi, Mbappe.

  • Injured: Marco Verratti, Presnel Kimpembe, Nuno Mendes, Nordi Mukiele, Lucas Lavallee
  • Suspended: N/A

With Galtier still easing certain players back into action since the World Cup, including just two starts in 2023 for Messi, he will use this game to improve match sharpness in his squad.

The French side are likely to make sweeping changes at the break with very few players if any completing 90 minutes of action.

The PSG team is missing three players who didn't make the trip due to injury: Nordi Mukiele (hamstring), Marco Verratti (quad), and goalkeeper Lucas Lavallee (hamstring). Defenders Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles) and Nuno Mendes (muscle) have been out for several weeks with injuries.
