PSG match schedule: No Lionel Messi vs. Bordeaux in final match before November break

Paris Saint-Germain will enter the November international break for World Cup qualifiers in first place in Ligue 1 and in second place in Group A of the UEFA Champions League. It's the best-case scenario given that star signing Lionel Messi has picked up an injury, and the team has struggled to reach its best form as it integrates its new players.

PSG will be hitting the road on Saturday to face Bordeaux in its 13th Ligue 1 match of 38 this season. A win would see it extend its lead atop the standings to 10 points over second-place Lens. The Parisian side will have to do it without Messi, who has knee and hamstring ailments that already kept him out of a Champions League match against RB Leipzig.

The team's stars will then join their national teams for the November international window, returning with PSG to face Nantes at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, Nov. 20. PSG will enter one of the busiest stretches of the season with 10 matches to be played on three competitive fronts by year's end. Qualification to the knockout rounds of the Champions League will come down to the final two matches.
