Matches at Borussia Dortmund have defined the early phase of Jobe Bellingham’s career much like how his brother Jude once began his rise in Germany.
The difference now is that Jobe’s path has quickly grown complicated after months of frustration and limited opportunities under Niko Kovac.
Jobe signed for Dortmund in June 2025 when he made a five-year deal with the Bundesliga side after leaving Sunderland.
According to BILD - the tension first surfaced on the opening day of the season when Jobe’s father, Mark, clashed with sporting director Sebastian Kehl following Dortmund’s 3–3 draw at St. Pauli.
That exchange was seen as the first sign of unease within the Bellingham camp.
Since then, Jobe has played just 187 minutes in the Bundesliga, 88 in the Champions League, and 26 in the DFB Cup, failing to complete a single full match and for a player signed to be part of Dortmund’s long-term vision, such limited involvement has raised eyebrows across England.

Premier League duo monitor Bellingham’s situation
According to German Outlet, Manchester United and Crystal Palace are monitoring the situation of the Jude’s younger brother before Winter window.

United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly views Bellingham’s physique and drive as ideal for the Premier League’s tempo.
Dortmund, however, maintain a firm stance that he remains central to their future. CEO Lars Ricken and Kehl continue to see him as a project player not one for short-term gain.
