There will always be interest in who is on the docket for Portugal at the World Cup, and that will be true again in 2026 as Cristiano Ronaldo plays in what will surely be his last edition of the event.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup draw took place Friday before the tournament next summer that will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. All told, it was a decent draw for Ronaldo and company, with a marquee matchup with Colombia and then a lot of mystery.

Who is in Portugal's World Cup group?

Portugal's Group K at the 2026 FIFA World Cup will include:

  • Colombia
  • Uzbekistan
  • FIFA Playoff 1 winner

Colombia is the big match here. The winner of Portugal-Colombia will be favored to top this group.

This will be the first-ever World Cup appearance for Uzbekistan.

There are three teams involved in the FIFA Playoff 1: Jamaica, New Caledonia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Jamaica and New Caledonia will play a match, and the winner of that plays DR Congo for a spot in the World Cup.
