Newcastle United look set for an exciting campaign in 2023/24 after Eddie Howe's side secured a Champions League return for the first time in over two decades at the back end of 2022/23.

The Magpies have been transformed in the last 12 months, with Howe set to be heavily backed by the club's Saudi Arabian owners in the summer transfer market as he aims to maintain their upward trajectory.

Newcastle fans are riding the crest of a wave heading into the campaign and they will be confident of potentially adding a trophy to another Premier League season of progress.

The Sporting News looks at the Newcastle players contracted for the 2023/24 season.

Howe based the majority of Newcastle's strong end to the 2022/23 season on a core of key players and due to their mega-money ownership, they will not be forced to sell players this summer.

Star midfielder Bruno Guimaraes will stay at St. James' Park, with a string of new faces expected to join the Brazil international on Tyneside
