Bayern Munich have been sensational this season, especially in the Bundesliga. Vincent Kompany was under immense pressure of reclaiming the league title after the Bavarians finished third last season.

Although they crashed out of the Champions League quarterfinals, it was still a successful season for Bayern Munich as they won their 34th league crown.

It was a special season for the club with club legend Thomas Muller leaving the club after 25 years of association, coupled with Harry Kane's winning his first career title.

While it was a collective performance from each and every player and staff to bring the Bundesliga title back to Bavaria, one player who caught everyone's eye was new signing, Michael Olise.

The French winger, who joined from Crystal Palace, has hardly taken any time to settle in Bavaria.

In his maiden season for the German champions, he netted 17 goals and provided 21 assists from 50 outings across all competitions. Therefore, he deservingly won the Bundesliga Rookie of the Year title.

What did Kimmich say about Olise's work ethic?

Olise has already received a lot of praise and recognition for his heroics with Bayern in his maiden campaign. But people hardly get to know about his hard work in preparation and training.

Recently, Joshua Kimmich lauded the youngster for his commitment and dedication to Bayern after joining directly from the Olympics, where he was representing France.

“When you see how early Michael always arrives, how he prepares himself before training, how long he works after training and how he works out in the gym, this is simply the reward for all the hard work," the German midfielder shared

"We shouldn’t forget that he’s coming off a summer without a vacation, because he played in the Olympics. To then pull off such performances at this level and hardly play a bad game is quite extraordinary."

As per Squawka, Olise has created the most chances this season in the Bundesliga (91). Also, WhoScored has named him the Bundesliga 2024/25 Player of the Season.

He finished the season as the top assists provider (15) in the Bundesliga 2024/25 and was one of the two players to finish with 10-plus goals and assists along with Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz.
