Bayern Munich are in a tight spot after having a below par transfer window this summer as they missed out of several players before eventually secure Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea.
The Senegal international made a dramatic move to Bavaria on deadline day and is expected to play second fiddle to Harry Kane whilst also accompanying the Englishman as per Vincent Kompany's requirements.
However, as per journalist Raphael Honigstein's report via talkSPORT suggests Bayern Munich are braced for life after Kane as they expect the 32-year-old to leave before his contract expires in 2027.
The English skipper, who moved to Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 for a club record fee of €100m plus €10m bonuses and has become an instant hit having scored 91 goals in 100 appearances.
Kane has been one of the most consistent players for Bayern over the last two seasons and if he returns to Premier League to see out the last stretch of his professional career, it will be a major blow for the Bavarians.
Knowing this situation, Bayern Munich reportedly pushed for the signature of Nick Woltemade during the summer transfer window, but they eventually ended up with Jackson on loan with an obligation to buy.

While he is an immediate depth solution, the 24-year-old is also expected to lead the lines for Bayern Munich eventually after Kane's departure.
What did Raphael Honigstein say about Kane's exit from Bayern Munich?
Considering the dearth of striking talent in European clubs, Kane is going to be a hot property for many clubs.
But Honigstein expects the Englishman to the Premier League, where he could make one last push to overtake Alan Shearer's record of highest goalscorer in the league.
"People in Germany don't expect Harry Kane to see out his career at Bayern necessarily," Honigstein highlighted. "There was always a chance, I think Bayern are braced for the, shall we say, possibility that he will leave perhaps slightly earlier than his contract. It runs until 2027, so one way or the other, both he and the club need to take a view on this fairly soon.

"The fact that they were pushing for somebody who can be both a back-up and an understudy for Kane - they looked at Sesko, they looked at Woltemade, they ended up with Jackson, with an obligation, kind of a soft obligation, to buy - suggests that Bayern are aware of the possibility that Kane might go in a year or two, and they need to plan for the future slightly. But he is so good that anyone who comes in, and I would put Jackson in that bracket, would have to play around Kane rather than really compete.
"He is very much there to be the back-up and maybe his eventual successor, but we are still quite far off that."
However, currently Kane is focused on achieving big things this season as Bayern Munich aim to retain their Bundesliga crown whilst pushing for multiple other trophies like the DFB Pokal and even making a better push for the Champions League title than last season.
With the World Cup happening next year, Kane is keen to continue in his usual goalscoring form as he is expected to lead the lines for Thomas Tuchel's England in 2026.
While a move to Premier League may be enticing for the 32-year-old, Barcelona could also be another option for him as they aim to replace Robert Lewandowski next summer.
