Arsenal vs. Man United live score: Premier League updates, result, stats as leaders face Carrick's Red Devils image

Arsenal host Manchester United on Sunday in what could prove to be a significant game in their Premier League title push.

The Gunners started the weekend with a seven-point lead at the top of the standings, although consecutive goalless draws in the league has at least allowed the chasing pack to retain hope of hauling them in.

United convincingly beat Manchester City in the derby last week in Michael Carrick's first game as interim boss. He managed a home win over Arsenal the last time he held such a role, but replicating that result against a team who have not lost at home all season is a big ask.

Arsenal vs. Man United live updates, highlights, and commentary

1 hr 15 mins before kickoff: The teams are in. Piero Hincapie returns at left-back for Arsenal, while Mikel Arteta has given Gabriel Jesus the nod to start up front after his midweek brace at Inter.

1 hour 40 mins before kickoff: United are understandably riding high after raking Manchester City apart in last weekend's derby, a result that leaves City fans in the unusual position of rooting for a United victory here. But their record at Emirates Stadium is dismal of late. United are winless in this corner of north London since December 2017 in and have lost their past four visits in the Premier League. They did manage to prevail on penalties in the FA Cup last season, however.
