Adidas 2026 World Cup kits

Adidas
On November 5, Adidas launched the 2026 home kit line for 22 national teams, many of whom will take part in the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico this coming summer.
Headlined by defending champions Argentina alongside European giants Germany, Italy, and Spain, the release has built further excitement for fans all across the world who are gearing up — literally — for the coming competition.
"The bold array of jerseys reflects the heart of each nation via colour, ways, and patterns that celebrate key aspects of each nation's identity," Adidas said in its official press release. "From their rich histories to famous landscapes, traditional architecture and iconic past kit designs, each jersey aims to unite fans around a shared passion for their nation."
Below are the new jerseys for some of the most popular nations with Adidas agreements, and the explanation behind each design.
Argentina's 2026 WC kit

Adidas
Argentina will don their traditional "Albiceleste" or "Sky Blue" color at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but this kit boasts a stunning faded look.
Adidas says it took inspiration from previous triumphs at the famed tournament, with the kit featuring a "unique 3 coloured fading effect, channelling the blue tones from the three previous FIFA World Cup winning shirts —1978, 1986 & 2022."
The back of the neck also says "1896" to celebrate the founding year of the Argentine federation.
Germany's 2026 World Cup kit

Adidas
2026 will be the final World Cup for Germany with longtime kit-maker Adidas, as the lifelong partners see their agreement come to an end in 2027 as Die Mannschaft move to Nike.
The two are going out with a bang at the end of a 70-year partnership, with one of the best kits of the Adidas World Cup release.
"Championing Germany's previous successes in this tournament, the home jersey pays homage to some of the nation's most iconic shirts," Adidas said on the release. "The repeating diamond shape and chevron detailing are each inspired by the iconic graphics from previous shirts, including the 2014 World Cup winning shirt."
Italy 2026 WC kit

Adidas
Italy's kit for the2026 calendar year features the classic "Azzurri" blue with old gold stripes and Adidas logo.
The background features a repeating vertical pattern that "celebrates the essence" of Italy's football federation, according to Adidas.
Mexico's 2026 World Cup gear

Adidas
Mexico's kit features an Aztec-inspired background that has become familiar for the national team in the past decade or so.
The 2026 World Cup design has similarities to the 2024 kit.
Spain's 2026 World Cup shirt

Adidas
The Spain kit for the 2026 World Cup features the red and gold stripes on the shoulders and an electrified pinstripe design.
It's an odd choice that almost looks more like the Belgium color scheme than Spain, which is interesting as the Belgium kit appears to have drawn more from Spain's colors, almost like they were flipped.
According to Adidas, the kit "draws visual cues from the national flag and crest."
