Manchester Unitedhad a slow start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign as they struggled for consistency despite securing wins.
The Red Devils have secured three wins out of the first seven league games with wins against Burnley, Chelsea and Sunderland before heading into the international break.
However, they have failed to maintain a winning streak of multiple games which has been a major concern for the fans and most importantly for manager Ruben Amorim.
Despite the issues, the Portuguese manager has received some backing from owner Jim Ratcliffe which has calmed the uncertainty around him.
Another area where Man United have improved in recent games is goalkeeping with the arrival of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp this summer.
The Belgian goalkeeper has looked solid in his club debut against Sunderland as they registered a 2-0 win right before the international break in October.

Interesting, it was United's first clean sheet this season across competitions and fans were ecstatic with Lammens' debut performance as he already felt like a massive upgrade over their former options Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.
United fans are already comparing the 23-year-old with club legend Peter Schmeichel, but Amorim downplayed such comparisons, saying Lammens has a long way to go.
“He’s [Lammens] not Schmeichel yet. He’s a young guy with talent. He showed a lot of composure, and the fans liked it. But again, that is in the past; we need to prove in the next game," Amorim told the reporters at the press conference in response to comparisons made by fans.
"Nothing is impossible [regarding if Lammens is impossible to drop]. You have to prove during the week but, of course, he did a great job. It is possible that he is going to start the game. The first impression in this club is really important; to maintain the level is even more important and is really difficult."
What did Peter Schmeichel say about United's Lammens?
Lammens moved to United this summer from Royal Antwerp for £18.1m ($24.3m) after a splendid last season in the Jupiler Pro League.
The youngster had an impressive debut even though he didn't have much do it against newly promoted Sunderland, but he was good at everything that he did.

There will be tougher games in the future, and he will be assessed only after he has played a few games for United.
But following his debut, Lammens passed the early eye test of United's legendary former goalkeeper Schmeichel.
"This young lad [Lammens didn’t have much to do for a long time, but he did well when called upon. You could see his confidence grow after that first save and the defenders reacted well. It’s far too early to judge him though — he’s young, hardly played any competitive football, and the pressure at Manchester United can be relentless," Schmeichel said about Lammens on Monday Night Live.
"He did well, it was clean and positive, things we haven’t been used to. But we’ll really see what kind of goalkeeper he is when he makes mistakes and has to respond to them. That’s when we’ll know how good he can be."
With Premier League resuming, Lammens will gear up for the opportunity to face United's archrivals Liverpool in the North-West derby in England's top flight on Sunday, October 19 at Anfield.
