Manchester United will hope to return to winning ways when they visit Tottenham in Saturday's early Premier League kickoff.
The Red Devils have gone four consecutive games unbeaten in the Premier League over recent weeks, defeating Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion before last weekend's 2-2 draw at Nottingham Forest.
Head coach Ruben Amorim may finally be starting to turn the tide after a largely wretched first year in the job at Old Trafford. Visiting Spurs will be a good barometer of their progress: they lost all four games against the north Londoners last season, including the UEFA Europa League final.
Thomas Frank's men have themselves been inconsistent in 2025/26. They were booed off after losing 1-0 at home to Chelsea in their last league game, but a resounding 4-0 UEFA Champions League victory over Copenhagen this week has restored some confidence.

Man Utd squad update
Amorim is not likely to make sweeping alterations to the team that drew at Forest, having named an unchanged side in the league for the very first time at The City Ground.
One possibility is that Harry Maguire returns to the heart of defence after only being fit enough for the bench last weekend. That would see Leny Yoro drop out and Matthijs de Ligt moved to the right of the back three.
The midfield and wing-back set-up appears set in stone for now, but further forward, we could see Mason Mount brought back in. The former Chelsea man would likely partner Bryan Mbeumo as a No. 10, with Matheus Cunha pushed up as the centre-forward and Benjamin Sesko dropping to the bench.

Man Utd's injury woes
Below is the latest injury picture for Man United, and estimated return dates for those who are sidelined.
Lisandro Martinez plays
- Injury: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear (left knee)
- Expected return date: November 2025
Martinez has been out of action since suffering another serious knee injury back in February. The Argentina international has finally returned to training after a minor setback in his recovery pushed back his potential return.
A return to action sometime in November, most likely after the international break, has been pencilled in, but he will still need time to work back to full match fitness before being ready to take the field.
