Manchester City looked to be back in good form after their 4-0 thrashing of Wolverhampton.
Erling Haaland scored a brace, and newcomers Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki also found themselves on the scoresheet.
After the game, Pep Guardiola had nothing but praise for Reijnders, calling him a "top signing."
What did Guardiola say about Reijnders?
Guardiola commended Reijnders, saying, "Really good. Lovely guy and has made an impact from day one. His pace, he can help with the holding midfield.
"He can make runs inside the pockets and the spaces that sometimes we allow defenders to create."

Reijnders' pass to Rico Lewis created Haaland's first goal, before he netted the second goal three minutes later.
The Dutchman's goal came from a counterattack, where he finished the move with a left-footed shot into the back of the net.
Reijnders recorded an assist in the second half, as his ball found Haaland for his second goal of the night.
Guardiola continued, "At Milan, he was exceptional and with the national team. We know he is a top signing for the coming years for City."
Reijnders also spoke after the game, saying, "It's a great start. Very happy with an assist and a goal, and a very good win. It is a great start, and we have to keep going now."
