Man City prepared to take staggering loss on out-of-favor star image

Manchester City have had a busy summer for transfers in, but there haven't been many exits yet.

The most notable exit has been Kyle Walker, as the Englishman secured a move to Burnley.

Another star slated to leave this summer is Jack Grealish, who played in just 20 Premier League games this season.

The former Aston Villa man cost Manchester City £100m, and now the team has reportedly set a stunning asking price for the winger.

What is Grealish's price tag?

Manchester Evening News has reported that City are prepared to accept offers as low as £40m.

The star has a massive wage at City, which might have to be slashed for any club to think of signing Grealish.

Another potential problem for City: finding a club to take Grealish.

Everton and Tottenham have both been said to be interested in the English winger, but the clubs are also looking elsewhere to bolster their squads.

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford is on the move, as well, and his price tag is around the same £40m figure.

This could see a bigger problem arise, as the rivals are both keen to offload their wingers at the same price, with many of the same suitors.
