Erling Haaland scores goal.
That's simply what the Norwegian superstar striker does for Manchester City. It's what he's done his whole life.
And this weekend, one statistic in particular proves the magnitude at which Haaland does that.
He has now reached 103 career Premier League goals.
That number is significant for one reason in particular: It's the amount of EPL goals that Cristiano Ronaldo scored.
Ronaldo scored his 103 Premier League goals in 236 games.
Haaland has scored his 103 Premier League goes in 114 games.
That's astounding.
Haaland now has scored the same amount of Premier League goals as Cristiano Ronaldo did (103) ⚽️

The difference is Haaland reached the mark in just 114 games, compared to Ronaldo’s 236 🤯

Ronaldo did go on to become a much more efficient scorer, from a goals per game perspective, once he moved on to Real Madrid.
But in the physical, athletic Premier League, Haaland has scored goals at a clip that Ronaldo didn't come close to.
It's just one more feather in the cap for Haaland, who appears to be running away with this season's Golden Boot and just can't stop finding the back of the net.
