Everyone is singing Estevao Willian’s praises after the youngster scored his first goal for the club to help Chelsea clinch a crucial 2-1 over Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Brazilian came off the bench to score a 95th-minute winner for the Blues that pushed them to seventh place in the Premier League table on Saturday.
On the back of Estevao Willian's match-winning performance for the club, former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could not help but heap praise on the teenager.
Though most football fans would have seen Estevao Willian’s goal as a tap-in, for Sturridge, it was much more than that.
The former Chelsea and Liverpool star was impressed by the fact that the 18-year-old already knows how to time his runs to the back post.
Speaking after the game, Sturridge praised Estevao Willian’s maturity and composure that were beyond his years.

Daniel Sturridge impressed with Estevao Willian’s cameo against Liverpool
Speaking about Estevao on Sky Sports after the game, Sturridge said: “Those are the goals that make a player’s career. As a winger, your job is to be at the back post and get those tap-ins.
“Estevao’s timing and connection is brilliant — at his age, to have the awareness to do that is fantastic.”

While there is no denying that Sturridge is right in his assessment of Estevao Willian, the most exciting aspect from a Chelsea fan’s point of view is that the Brazilian is still very young and will only get better as a player.
