Barcelonahave been extremely restrictive in their transfer dealings this summer as they only signed three players including the loan move of Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
However, one of the best surprises of this season in the first three games has to be their new signing Joan Garcia, who moved to Camp Nou for €25m from Espanyol and has instantly improved the team.
The Catalans desperately needed someone to address their goalkeeping situation, and Garcia has been a fine fit in Hansi Flick's system.
Despite his great start to life Barcelona, the youngster didn't receive a Spain callup which came as a major disappointment for him and also for the fans.
Even Spain manager Luis De La Fuente has ruled out Garcia's inclusion in the national team in future, but he also asked for patience from the 24-year-old.
Speaking in an interview about Garcia's omission, De La Fuente highlighted the depth in the goalkeeping position for La Roja with the likes of Unai Simon, David Raya and Alex Remiro ahead of him in the pecking order.

“You have to be respectful and value what the other three have done," De La Fuente told Cadena SER. "Unai Simon has broken the record of Jose Angel Iribar in the national team and has an exceptional career, with titles behind him.
“I am also very sure of David Raya and Alex Remiro.”
Simon has been Spain's designated first choice goalkeeper under De La Fuente and he was pivotal to La Roja's European Championships triumph last year.
At the same time, Raya has been fantastic for Arsenal as he racked up most clean sheets in the Premier League for two consecutive season and has been decent for Spain in limited opportunities.
Lastly, Remiro also brings a lot of experience and expertise to this team from his 273 appearances for Real Sociedad.
What did De La Fuente say about Garcia's chances in future?
Considering their form and consistency, Spain are one of the favourites for the next year's World Cup and De La Fuente isn't looking to make rash changes to this roster.

He highlights how there's no pressure on him to hand Garcia an international call-up though the player was on his radar and he believes will play for La Roja in the near future.
“With Joan Garcia, I don’t have any pressure of any kind. Joan knows me, he has been in the youth international team with me. He knows how we work.
"Joan Garcia has the doors open when we think his time has come. I don’t know if it will be in October, November or March.
“Of the top-10 world goalkeepers, we have six or seven. Whoever comes does better than the one who is competing.”
“If you saw the training they do with Miguel Angel Espana, the attitude they have, how they endure the shooting round of the footballers after the session, they don’t leave the goal. It’s incredible.
For now, Garcia will focus on helping Barcelona retain their La Liga title whilst pushing for the Champions League glory after they got knocked out in the semifinals last season.
