Barcelona registered a 2-1 win over Newcastle United in the midweek Champions League clash and now they are looking to extend their unbeaten streak in La Liga as they lock horns against Getafe.
The Catalans have garnered 10 points from their first four La Liga games this season which includes three wins and a solitary draw against Rayo Vallecano.
While they would like to extend their unbeaten streak, manager Hansi Flick will have some decisions to make especially for a few players considering fatigue and all the travelling in the last couple of days.
One of the biggest setbacks from the last few days was Gavi getting injured and there were talks about the Spanish midfielder considering arthroscopy, which will sideline him for five weeks.
The 20-year-old was proceeding with caution and didn't rule out rest and recovery process only to avoid surgery.
Ahead of the Getafe game, Flick shared a positive update on the midfielder's physical condition, as he told the reporters, "I hope to see him back soon. This isn’t the time to make decisions, but let’s wait two or three more days and see how things progress and what decision is made."

What did Hansi Flick say about Lamine Yamal's availability for this fixture?
Barcelona missed the services of Alejandro Balde and Lamine Yamal in the game against Newcastle United as Marcus Rashford stepped up and scored a brilliant brace.
While Balde has been struggling with hamstring issue for some time, Yamal picked up a groin knock during the international break with Spain.

"Of course, we’re working on it. As I said before, we have to take it day by day with Lamine. With Balde, his case is better, and we hope to see him again soon. Lamine needs more time," Flick shared an update about the two players.
Despite the injuries, Flick clearly stated that he expects everyone to give their best on the field and that's exactly how he wants the club to approach the new season.
"Looking at last season, things change quickly. I see it this way: we have to be focused game by game. Our job is to give everything for this club. I’m going to give everything for this team, and that’s what I expect from my players."
Barcelona have scored eight goals in their last two games against Valencia and Newcastle United, hence we can expect goals when they will host Getafe at Estadi Johan Cruyff on Sunday night.
