It's been another dramatic summer for Barcelona this summer with the same issues that have plagued the club this entire decade.

Financial and registrations problems have been the headlines of this summer but after much drama, Barca are almost in the clear.

With two days left, there is only one player that the clubs is left to try and register.

Two More Registrations

Barcelona have registered first team players Wojciech Szczesny and Gerard Martin after the departures of Iñaki Peña and Oriol Romeu.

You may wonder why these players had to be registered as they were Barcelona players last year meaning they should have already been registered.

The situation with Szczesny is that he wasn't registered last summer as he came out of retirement to join the team after Marc-Andre Ter Stegen suffered a season long injury. Meaning he wasn't officially  registered yet and Barcelona had to do it this summer as he signed an extension.

As for Gerard Martin, he was technically playing as an academy player last year and signed his first team contract this summer. This year, he will wear the number 18 which is new first team number.

Barcelona now get key depth players as Szczesny is the official backup goalkeeper and Gerard Martin will serve as the backup left back and backup left centre back.

Now this leaves just one player left to register this summer as winger Roony Bardghji awaits to see if it gets done in time.

Roony was always going to be the last player registered but Barcelona have high hopes that they will get it done even if it takes a personal guarantee.

Barcelona fans can let out a sigh of relief as it seems the summer of registration issues might finally come to an end.
