The Women’s Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2025 sees New Zealand take on France in a Bronze final showdown at Twickenham on Saturday.

The record six-time RWC champions will not play in the final this year after being bested by Canada in last Friday's semifinal. The Maple Leafs dominated them 34-19 and booked a spot in the final for just the second time in World Cup history.

France lost 35-17 to hosts England despite dominating possession and territory in the first half. The visitors managed just one try from seven entries into the 22, while the Red Roses were clinical after the break.

In 12 all-time meetings, the Black Ferns hold a 7-5 edge over France. Their most recent Rugby World Cup clash came in the 2021 semifinals, where New Zealand narrowly beat the French 25-24 to book a place in the final, which they went on to win.

The Sporting News looks at the key fixture details and how to follow the matches.
