The World Juniors are back in the U.S. For the first time since 2018. Team USA heads into the 2026 World Juniors as the two-time defending gold medalist, and this run comes on home ice in Saint Paul/Minneapolis (Dec. 26, 2025–Jan. 5, 2026).
With a roster loaded with high-end NHL draft talent and multiple returning gold medalists, the Americans look like a clear contender to make another deep run and even chase a rare three-peat.
Fresh off back-to-back golds, Team USA’s three-peat bid starts with James Hagens driving play and Cole Eiserman providing game-breaking finish up front.
If Cole Hutson is running the blue line and E.J. Emery is logging the shutdown minutes, the Americans have the pieces to win tight matches on home ice in Minnesota.
