NHL Draft order 2022: Updated list of all 225 picks over seven rounds and sorted by team image

The first big event of the offseason is closing in, as the 2022 NHL Draft is set for July 7.

All 32 teams will get an opportunity to bolster their prospect pools by selecting eligible players from this year's class. In total, 225 picks will be made over a span of seven rounds.

The Canadiens own the top pick in the draft after finishing last in the league and winning the draft lottery. The Devils jumped out three spots from No. 5 to No. 2 thanks to the draft lottery, while the Coyotes, Kraken and Flyers all slid back one in the first round.

Shane Wright has long been considered the consensus No. 1 pick in the draft, but there remains other elite talent. Logan Cooley is the top American prospect and should be selected in the top five, in addition to Slovakia's Juraj Slafkovsky and Simon Nemec.

Below, you'll find the complete round-by-round pick order, as well as a list of picks by team.
