Daily Faceoff

A player in free agency who surprisingly remains without a contract midway through September as training camp quickly approaches is 28 year old forward Jack Roslovic.

The incoming 10 year vet spent last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, where he enjoyed a solid season with 22 goals and 17 assists for the club.

Insider Frank Seravalli has linked the UFA to 3 teams who could still be in play to sign him as the NHL world waits to see where the coveted talent lands.

Which 3 teams are connected to Jack Roslovic?

Carolina Hurricanes

The Hurricanes would be a logical destination for Jack as he spent the last season with them and fit in well in the lineup. The issue the Canes face at the moment is a crowded roster that does not appear to have a clear spot for him in the rotation.

Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks are known to be a team that is still observing the market as the season approaches. Roslovic is a player that has been connected to Vancouver at points over the summer, but their interest in him has reportedly cooled of late via Rick Dhaliwal.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Perhaps no team is less surprising on this list than the Leafs as they are always a team active in the rumor mill. This offseason especially with the loss of Mitch Marner, Roslovic could be a viable top 6 option for Toronto. Plus, Roslovic has already built up chemistry with Auston Matthews at the US development program.
