On Wednesday, Bo Horvat was named to Team Canada's Olympic hockey roster.
On Thursday, Horvat was injured while playing for the New York Islanders.
It's not yet clear how bad the injury is.
But it's clear the timing is a nightmare.
Here's a look at what happened:
Bo Horvat left this afternoon's game in third period...we will see what is said postgame. Hopefully, not as bad as it looked pic.twitter.com/0DTdIw9VVc

Fans are already wondering if surprise snub Sam Bennett will work his way into a roster spot after this.
Horvat will have a bit of time to heal up and get healthy before Canada would have to make a different decision with its roster.
It certainly would be a bummer for Horvat himself if an injury like this kept him away from the Olympics, so he'll be working hard to heal up.
It'll be wait and see here to learn just what kind of situation Horvat has found himself in.
