The Winter Classic is back.
It's Friday, January 2, and the Florida Panthers are taking on the New York Rangers in the NHL's annual outdoor game.
It's a bit different this year, though.
For the first time, the outdoor game is in Florida.
Where is the Winter Classic?
This year's Winter Classic is being played in Miami, Florida.
The Panthers and Rangers meet at the home ballpark of MLB's Miami Marlins.
The TNT broadcast revealed the game will be played in about 60 degree weather.
The roof was opened up last-minute at the ballpark, which is fun.
Both the Panthers and Rangers are just outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture when the game gets underway, so it's a big matchup. The pageantry is nice, but it'd be a huge win for either team that is able to pull out the victory.
