This can't happen, of course.

But David Pastrnak has a great plan to get his Boston Bruins teammate Morgan Geekie to the Olympics.

Geekie was one of the major snubs from Team Canada despite having scored 50 goals in the 2025 calendar year.

Pastrnak's idea? Bring him along to join the Czech team with Pastrnak.

“I told Geeks, we’ll take him for Team Czech," Pastrnak said, via NHL.com.

Fans had some fun with that idea, suggesting a new name spelling for Geekie:

Of course, that's the tough part for a guy like Geekie of being a native of Canada. Their player pool is so much deeper than every other nation, and great players get left off the roster for every tournament.

Geekie was one of the guys who had to deal with that fate this time around.

Pastrnak will just have to make the Bruins' forward group proud on his own as Geekie routes him on from home.
