The Washington Commanders are hosting the Detroit Lions in Week 10 at Northwest Stadium, but the NFC East franchise was also hosting someone else.

President Donald Trump.

As part of the NFL's Salute to Service initiative, Trump was seen in the stands as the Commanders did their best to keep pace with the high-flying Lions.

And as the third quarter wound down, with the Lions leading 32-16, fans listening or watching the Fox broadcast would have suddenly heard Mr. Trump's voice.

Yeah, that's right, Donald was in the broadcast booth as the Commanders were doing their thing.

With Daniels out for, we think, the rest of the season, the Commanders are down big to the Lions, and at 3-6, it wouldn't make sense for Washington to rush back its franchise quarterback for a lost season.

The consensus has been that the franchise should wrap Jayden in cotton wool and get him ready for 2026 because it is clear this season, the Commanders won't be challenging for the Super Bowl.

And for Trump, he was at the stadium to see the Commanders battle the Lions, and he might not have liked what was put on the field, but it is clear he enjoyed himself inside the broadcast booth.

Even though Commanders fans likely weren't enjoying what they were seeing on the field.
