Washington Commanders wide receiver Treylon Burks made one of the sickest one-handed catches you will ever see in the Week 13 game against the Denver Broncos.
During the third quarter, with The Commanders positioned close to scoring, quarterback Marcus Mariota lofted a pass toward Burks in the end zone.
Despite an errant throw, Burks elevated and secured a one-handed reception for the score, with a Broncos player tightly guarding him.

A shared characteristic between Mariota and Burks is that both were selected in the initial round by the Tennessee Titans, though they never shared a team.
Burks was the No. 18 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft.
The Titans had intended for him to step in for A.J. Brown following his trade to the Philadelphia Eagles, but this plan didn't materialize. Burks faced persistent injury issues and struggled with performance during his time in Nashville.
Having spent three seasons with The Titans, Burks was released this year and subsequently joined the Commanders, who were in urgent need of assistance at the wide receiver position.
The score via a catch marked only the second time Burks had reached the end zone in his career, and the first since his initial season in 2022. It's clear he was in need of that moment.
