After starting off the week with a clean bill of health, Washington Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been added to the injury report.
Samuel was added on Friday due to an illness and is now questionable to play in the Week 15 game against the New York Giants.
Here's the latest status update on Samuel with just hours to go before kickoff.
Is Deebo Samuel playing today?
Yes, Samuel is expected to play in Week 15 versus the Giants, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
"Commanders WR Deebo Samuel, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an illness, is expected to play vs. The Giants, per source," Schefter reported.
Final confirmation on Samuel's status will come an hour and a half before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday.
Deebo Samuel start or sit advice
Samuel enters Week 15 ranked as WR23 overall, which makes him a weekly flex option for fantasy football owners.
Samuel draws a positive matchup, also, with the Giants surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.
We're not worried about Jayden Daniels being out, either, as Samuel has produced with Marcus Mariota under center this season.
Samuel has scored a touchdown in three of Mariota's starts, and has posted at least five catches and 64 yards or more three times. His best game with Mariota came in Week 11, when he posted 7/74/1.
Consider Samuel a solid flex option in Week 15.
