Terry McLaurin and the Washington Commanders haven't spoken about a new contract in a month. The star wide receiver said it's getting to be "crunch time" in negotiations.
And frankly, McLaurin isn't happy.
"I've been pretty frustrated, not gonna lie," McLaurin told reporters Tuesday. "Everything that has transpired up to this point has been disappointing or frustrating."
McLaurin has been a star for the Commanders, even when he was playing with bad quarterbacks. Now with young star Jayden Daniels, Washington has the chance to do big things.
But they'll need their top wideout on board to do so.
"I've wanted to continue my career here," McLaurin said. "I created my life here. My wife and I bought our first home here. This has been somewhere I've always wanted to be. Just to see how things have played out has been disappointing. I understand everything is a business, but at the same time, I want to put myself in a position where I feel valued and appreciated."

The Commanders should appreciate the former Ohio State star. He has topped 1,000 yards in each of the past five seasons and is coming off a career-high 13 touchdown catches.
"I'm just trying to take things day by day," McLaurin said. "At the beginning of this process, I just wanted things to work out. I thought they'd be more progressive than they have. At this point, it's kind of up in the air."
In the interview clip, McLaurin almost sounds exhausted and a bit sad by the whole process. It's pretty clear in his words and tone that he wants to get a deal done with the Commanders.
Maybe he's asking for too much money, although that's unclear at this point. But Washington's ownership group is new and surely can afford a hefty contract for their star receiver, right?
The NFL world will wait and see what happens next.
