The Tennessee Titans made strong use of their No. 1 waiver claim spot on Wednesday.
Nowhere was that more true than in their claim of Jalyn Armour-Davis, who wound up being the most coveted player on the waiver wire.
Armour-Davis had four teams try to claim him, according to ESPN's Field Yates. The Saints, Dolphins and Eagles were also in on Armour-Davis.
But at the top of the waiver claim order, the Titans won Armour-Davis' services.

He's a talented cornerback from the Baltimore Ravens who adds depth for the Titans at a position you can never have enough of it.
"Corners, you can't have enough of," Titans GM Mike Borgonzi told reporters on Thursday.
Borgonzi went on to say some very positive things about his newest corner.
“He has had some injuries, but we feel like we have a good plan with the training staff … that we’re going to be able to get him up to speed,” Borgonzi said. “He’s a talented corner. As we were going through these preseason cuts, he was one of the better corners out there … I think anytime you can add a young corner to the roster, that’s why we put the claim in.”

Armour-Davis is 25 years old. He's played 19 games total across his first three NFL seasons.
Tennessee is relying on L'Jarius Sneed to be healthy and hold down one of the outside cornerback spots. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. will likely line up across from him, with Roger McCreary at nickel.
The Titans have entered an exciting new era this season with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward at quarterback.
They've done what they can to build up the rest of the team, too, to be competitive sooner rather than later.
