Cam Ward probably just got sacked again.
That's how this season has been going for the Tennessee Titans' rookie quarterback, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ward was battered again during Sunday's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has now been sacked at least three times in 10 games, which trails only Warren Moon (11 games) for the NFL record, which was set in 1984, according to ESPN.
The Titans have allowed 48 sacks this season, seven worse than the next worst team, the Raiders.

Tennessee is also about to head to Cleveland to take on the Browns and Myles Garrett, which could get ugly.
Through it all, Ward has kept a strong perspective.
This is what the rookie said after Sunday's game, via ESPN:
"I like to live my life one day at a time. It really doesn't bother me. Someone in the world has it a lot worse than I have so that's just how I put it in perspective. God has blessed me with the ability to do what I love for a living. Not a lot of people get the chance to say that. So every time when I'm hurt, sore, and when I'm healthy, I just try to go play through it."

Ward has looked better in recent weeks. He's picking the right times to show off his mobility, and he's threading more throws into the right places at the right times.
There's still a long way to go, and Ward's development will certainly be helped if the blockers can do just a bit better job. But he's showing progress and perspective.
Now the Titans just have to be sure they don't break him.
