The Tennessee Titans were soundly defeated by the Indianapolis Colts by the score of 41-20. Jonathan Taylor had a throwback performance, rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans' defense.
The loss keeps the Titans winless through three games, which is bad enough as is. An observation made by Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr, though, highlights a bigger problem with the Titans.
"[We] saw it on the pre-game intros," Pittman said. "They kinda looked a little sluggish, they were kinda walking around, nobody was really bouncing. Right then and there we all sat there and were like 'They don't want to play today.'"
This doesn't paint a great picture for the Titans, or head coach Brian Callahan, as Justin Graver of Heed The Call points out.
"This is more damning for Callahan than anything that happened during the game," Graver said on X.
There are real questions if Callahan should be the guy going forward, and this won't make those conversations go away.
