The Tampa Bay Buccaneers discovered a week ago just how good Sean Tucker can be.
He ran wild against the Buffalo Bills, and even though it went down as a loss, it was a breakout game for Tucker.
He should have a big role for another week in Week 12 when the Bucs play on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams.
Tucker rocks a number that not too many RBs wear, 44.
There's a fun reason.
Why does Sean Tucker wear jersey number 44?
Tucker wears 44 as an homage to his college career at Syracuse for the Orange.
Tucker was No. 34 in college, but only because he couldn't wear 44.
That number isn't given out anymore at SU. It was worn by three legends: Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little.
Those were three of the greatest RBs in the history of college football, and they all did it while wearing 44.
Tucker didn't get to wear 44 at Syracuse, despite a phenomenal career. So he picked it once he got to the NFL.
He isn't the only one. Former star Orange linebacker Zaire Franklin now wears 44 while playing for the Indianapolis Colts.
It's a cool way to shout out where Tucker has come from.
