The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Carolina Panthers for all the NFC South marbles in Week 18.

Granted, the Atlanta Falcons will have to lose once in the next two games, and the Buccaneers beat the Panthers to win the division, but Todd Bowles' team is in a good position.

But for a team that has won just one game out of its last eight, the mood isn't exactly great. At a time of the season when you have to be playing your best, the Buccaneers are playing their worst.

So, what is head coach Todd Bowles' message to his team ahead of the season finale?

"It's working on us, obviously working on us, understanding the things that we did wrong so we can get right," Bowles said. "We don't play 48 minutes or 60 minutes of bad football. We play spurts, we have a couple plays, and we got to put it together. It's the last game, one way or the other, we got to find a way to win."

Can Bucs save season vs. Panthers?

Of course they can.

But it is going to require the Buccaneers to do something that they haven't done much of late to do it.

Win a game.

Yes, that might be a little dark, but Tampa Bay has the weapons to beat just about any team in football, but self-inflicted wounds have plagued them.

Now, it all comes down to one game. If the Falcons lose to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, then the Buccaneers will know Week 18 is a win-and-you 're-in situation.

After starting 5-1, Tampa Bay is now 7-9, and it can't waste this last opportunity.

Will Bowles' message be well received? Well, it has to.
