It appears Rachaad White has played his last game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
We say that because of White's social media post after the Bucs were eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday.
Despite taking care of business on Saturday against the Carolina Panthers, the Bucs needed the Atlanta Falcons' to lose to the New Orleans Saints in Week 18, but that didn't happen and instead the Falcons won, ending Tampa Bay's season.
Here's what White said after that was cemented:
"Uno out," White said, referencing his jersey number. "Thank yaw forever for da past 4 years."
It makes sense for White to expect to be gone after this season.
After all, the Bucs are going to roll with Bucky Irving as their starter once again next season and Tampa is unlikely to have much interest in paying White any semblance of significant money as Irving's backup.
Instead, we could see the Bucs re-signing Sean Tucker to a cheap deal and adding cheaper depth behind Irving and Tucker.
White, who has proven to be a solid backup, enters free agency in 2026 off a season in which eh tallied 572 rushing yards, 218 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
The free-agent class for running backs is pretty crowded as things stand today, so White might have a tough time finding a starting role.
